It’s been nearly a year since we launched The Tailored Interior to Australian audiences so after a new cover design and almost thirty people across four countries and 8 months – I was thrilled to launch The Tailored Interior at four fantastic events across the USA and UK.
Over three weeks we enjoyed the hospitality of Jonathan Adler and his team at signings in his showrooms on Melrose in Los Angeles, SOHO in New York City and Kensington in London. I was also delighted to appear at Lepere’s showroom in The New York Design Centre on Lexington Avenue for a special meet and greet.
Thank you to all who came along and helped me celebrate this milestone but also to those who played an integral part in getting this huge show on the road. Be sure to check out all the pictures from London, New York and Los Angeles.

This recently completed project on Sydney’s lower north shore is a study in classical, warm layering.
Timber is a key feature of this handsome house, in the polished floors, the doors, frames and stunning cabinetry. Its warm tones lend a strength to rooms yet its treatment prevents it from appearing heavy – narrow furniture legs and bedposts keep it looking elegant, floating cabinets stop it from seeming too solid and gilt touches give it a glamorous edge.
Hues such as grey, taupe, terracotta and blue have a softening effect in some living areas, with bold reds and monochromes injecting energy into others. Rugs bring texture and pattern throughout.
The house is a triumph of layering, with a considered build-up of colours, textures, prints and pieces creating a rich, elegant and eminently livable space.

Is it too late to wish you a Happy New Year? We think not! So welcome back and here’s to a big, bold and even more colourful year ahead for all of us.
Because if January is anything to go by, 2015 is already shaping up as a very happy new year indeed for Greg Natale.
Inspired by classical and modern Greek motifs and named after distant constellations, legendary hotels, verdant enclaves and the Greek alphabet itself, Greg’s latest range of sumptuous handcrafted wallpapers for Porter’s Paints celebrates his enduring love of pattern.
Whether it’s his sophisticated Hellenica, Astoria and Arbor geometric designs or the more organic, unconstrained Aquarius and Iota patternations, Collection II fuses dynamism with precision to deliver a signature wallpaper range that is wall-to-wall Greg Natale.

Patterned tiles have been enjoying a resurgence thanks in equal parts to their classic and contemporary designs, fresh colour palettes from manufacturers and the growing popularity of their hard-wearing practicality for spaces beyond just bathrooms and kitchens.
Greg has collaborated with Sydney-based Teranova for the first time to launch a range inspired by the Italian tiles of his heritage:
Triangle and Circle are also cleverly designed so that the individual tiles can be rotated and reconfigured, like a kaleidoscope, to achieve various patterned effects.
