Today we revisit our Tamarama apartment and some of the beautiful rugs we specified from my collection with Designer Rugs, including the Ink rug (above) a beautiful fluid and organic design made from Tibetan Wool and Bamboo.

The brief for this four-bedroom beachside apartment was to create a lavish, layered interior full of colour and glamour. The client was keen to draw on the vivid greens she loves in an island-themed painting that now hangs in the sitting room.

These greens – together with the warm golden tones of the travertine floors and the abundance of natural light – provided the starting point for a design that brings luxe LA style to the Sydney shores. The rugs and carpet throughout are the perfect complement to the interior spaces.
