Greg Natale brings a sense of warm elegance to the newly transformed retail space for Hunter’s Cashmere Collection, a premium brand celebrated for its 100% Australian-made cashmere since 1998. Located on the first floor of Sydney’s heritage-listed Queen Victoria Building, the boutique draws its palette from the building’s original stained-glass windows, with soft accents of butter yellow and fern green woven throughout. Echoing the tactile delicacy of fine cashmere, curved walls are finished in a light clay wash, while the layering of natural materials achieves a balance of richness and refinement. American White Oak, Verde Alpi marble, and Emerald Haze quartzite infuse the interior with a soothing, sensorial quality that encourages visitors to take their time engaging with the garments.
The boutique’s graceful design language begins with the subtle wave motif of the Ada flooring—Greg Natale’s contemporary take on parquetry from the Bosco Collection, created in collaboration with Tongue & Groove. Floating shelves, softly curved joinery, and integrated LED lighting present the collection with poise and clarity, while custom-designed storage and display units interlock at the centre to form a sculptural island. A square arch with rounded corners punctuates the cream-toned walls, leading to a private changeroom and offering a final architectural flourish to a space shaped by heritage and quality.
