Greg Natale brings a sense of quiet luxury to the newly transformed retail space for Hunter’s Cashmere Collection, a premium brand known for its 100% Australian-made cashmere since 1998. Located on the first floor of Sydney’s heritage-listed Queen Victoria Building, the boutique draws its palette from the building’s original stained-glass windows, with soft accents of butter yellow and fern green woven throughout. The design embraces understated elegance through curved joinery, integrated LED lighting, and richly textured natural materials. American White Oak, Verde Alpi marble, and Emerald Haze quartzite cultivate a serene, calming atmosphere that mirrors the softness of the garments and encourages a relaxed retail experience.
The boutique’s refined new fit-out is defined by a gentle, graceful design language, beginning with the subtle wave motif of the Ada flooring—Greg Natale’s contemporary take on parquetry from the Bosco Collection, created in collaboration with Tongue & Groove. Floating shelves and softly curved joinery showcase the brand’s offering without disrupting the visual flow, while custom-designed storage and display units interlock at the centre of the space to form a sculptural island. A square arch with rounded corners, built into the cream-toned walls, leads to a private changeroom, adding a final architectural flourish to a thoughtfully composed space.
