We rounded out an exciting year with a pair of stylish soirées at the Designer Rugs showrooms in Melbourne and Brisbane celebrating a myriad of wonderful achievements. Co-hosted by Tanya Buchanan, editor-in-chief of Belle and House & Garden magazines, the events gathered a cool crowd of close friends and design cognoscenti to celebrate the launch of Greg’s latest book, The Layered Interior, and the New Wave collection of rugs. The Designer Rugs showrooms in Melbourne’s Richmond and Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley displayed eye-catching examples of the New Wave floorcoverings, which take inspiration from 1980s postmodernism, as guests pored over Greg’s lavishly illustrated hardcover tome, published by New York imprint Rizzoli.
