Created exclusively for Italian design house Serafini, Onda transposes the sculptural DNA of Greg’s work to an arresting and luxurious scale. The table is carved from two contrasting sweeps of solid marble – both selected for their tonal depth and swirling, painterly patterns that express dramatic variations in scale and a vivid sense of movement. A wave-like profile presents a delicate contrast to the elemental heft of these materials, as gentle undulations imbue the table’s monumentality with a softer, organic edge.
The table is a distinctive style statement that melds sinuousness with solidity, gravitas with grace, playing with tensions between the hard and the soft to exude fluidity and grandeur with contemporary flair.
